What Goes into a Volkswagen Multi-Point Inspection?

The idea of a multi-point inspection is to closely analyze critical points of mechanical and systemic overlap in your vehicle. In doing so, we can spot problems that develop amid multiple systems at once to get right at the heart of any existing or potential problems. Our multi-point inspection checklist includes but is not limited to the following:

• Fluid levels: Systems that require fluid will not function long without them. By checking fluids, we can spot many potential problems, including leaks, mechanical wear, and more.
• Belts: Most automotive belts drive several interconnected systems. One faulty belt can cause multiple component failures, and poor belt condition indicates a list of easily preventable problems.
• Hoses: Like belts, the condition of hoses not only indicates specific developing problems, but the condition of hoses often correlates to the condition of similar wear items throughout the vehicle.
• Filters: Filters are there to protect your engine, and you, by keeping impurities from reaching mission-critical components and by keeping the air in the cab clean.
• Wiper blades: Often overlooked, the condition of wipers can also indicate the condition of items made from similar materials. Also, if neglected, you will see how important wipers are during the next unexpected downpour.
• Battery: Required for startup and running, a weak battery will bring your adventures to a halt.
• Tire tread: Often a sign of poor alignment or a need for tire rotation.
• Headlights: Indispensable after sunset, weak or worn lights can be an indication that other electrical components also need attention.
• Front and rear brakes: Your vehicle’s primary safety system, brakes are always high on our list of priorities.
• CV boots and joints: A complex and critical part of your wheels and transmission.
